Spring 2019 - Week 1 - Put it in the books!
Hello everyone,
First off I want to thank all the team captains for getting their sheets to me in a timely manner. I greatly appreciate it!
In going through everything, I noted that there were some really good darts thrown this past week. Congratulations to George Hart and Conor Joyce with C9's, and Anthony Dominick with a T80! Conor also highlighted the week with a 1054 AS performance.
Just a reminder that I need to be made aware of any roster changes BEFORE the match occurs. Just email me and I'll help you guys out as best I can. Also, if you haven't gotten us the Sponsor Dues or your Team dues, time is running out. Everything needs to be in by next week at the latest.
Have a great weekend and good luck to everyone next week!

Tonight's Captain's Meeting - CANCELLED!
Hello everyone,
With the weather not being too kind to us, and the radar taking a turn for the worse, the officers have discussed it and we are cancelling the Captain's Meeting for tonight. Please read below on how we are going to proceed going forward:
- Payments are still due before the season starts. Jack and I will be at Last Chance (in Wappingers) tomorrow night @ 7:30pm to hand out team packets, and plaques awarded for the fall season, and to collect sponsor and team dues. If you are not able to be there tomorrow, Jack and I will be down at the Barking Frog on Friday Night @ 7:30p to finish what wasn't distributed on Wed.
- If you are not able to make it either Wed. or Friday night, you can mail your dues to Jim Sokolinski (address information below). Dues will have to be postmarked no later than Feb. 15th. If no payments have been received by Feb. 20th we will be penalizing teams based upon the rules (Article XI - B.1-3).
- If you have any issues that needed to be addressed at the meeting, please bring them to our attention and we'll see what we can do to address them as timely as possible.
- Since there were no Letters of Intent for either the Vice President or Treasurer positions, both Colm and Jim will remain as their respective position for another 2 years.
- Jack and I will have dart boards with us for distribution for those who purchased them over the fall, or would like to buy new ones. Blade5 boards will be made available for $50/each.
Checks can be made payable to: Southern Dutchess Dart League
Email me: sddlsecretary@gmail.com if you need Jim's mailing address. I'll get it to you ASAP.
The schedules on the website will be available for everyone at 8PM tonight. This coincides with the start of what was supposed to be our meeting.
You will not need a login to view this information. After 8PM they will be visible.
Thank you everyone,
- Rob
Spring 2019 - Captain's Meeting
Hello everyone,
Now that we have all rosters in (40 in all!), let's start looking ahead to the Captain's Meeting next week at Last Chance. Meeting will start at 8PM. As a reminder, sponsor fees ($100) and team fees ($25) are due by the meeting. Checks can be made payable to Southern Dutchess Dart League.
There were no letters of intent for either the Vice President or Treasurer positions, so there will be no election this year.

Fall 2018 - Playoff Brackets: Update
Hello Everyone,
(Here) are the playoff brackets for this season. As always, we play Tuesday and Thursday (Race to 17 Pts.), its 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3, higher seed has choice of starting home or away. The only exception is if a higher division match up chooses to play a certain night at a sponsor who only has one board, or not enough space to accommodate four teams at once, in which case, the higher division match up has choice.
As an example this year, The White House has both of their teams qualifying for the playoffs, but only has 1 playable board. As per the rules, the higher division team (Reckless Darters) has choice as to starting home or away for the Tuesday match, with the lower division team (10-15 Over) having to start opposite of the higher division's choice. Captains, please let each other know where you want to play, and also let me know ASAP so we can figure out any conflicts, and so the league can share the match ups with anyone who wants to come out and watch.
Please remember folks, we are off next week (12/4), with playoffs starting on 12/11.
I'll be going around to the bars who won last years B, C, D, and E championships over the next week or so to pick up the traveling trophies, to award to the new champions. I'm compiling the stats for the Final Standings and they will be released as usual on Friday.
Good luck to all involved!
UPDATE: All teams have reported in, and the schedule has been posted -----> HERE.

Fall 2018 - Final Standings and Playoff Eligibility
Hello Everyone,
First off, I want to thank you all for making my first season as secretary as relatively painless as possible and I look forward to keeping it going in the seasons to come!
Now, onto the nitty gritty of it all. We're done as far as regular season is concerned. Final Playoff Eligibility is attached as well as the standings. Please contact me ASAP if you believe the eligibility seems off for your team and I go through it with you.
There were a lot of nice darts thrown throughout the season, and last week was no exception with Chris "Pugz" Puglia throwing his second T80 of the season! Way to go Chris! We had 2 divisions with ties for 4th place, needing both tie-breakers to be used to break them. Earlier this week I sent out the Playoff Brackets for each division. I'll be resending the brackets with schedules as they come in.
Reminder: Next week (12/4) is an off-week. This was put in back in August, in-case of inclement weather. We got lucky this year, with only 1 storm hitting (and on a Thursday night at that).
In the upcoming days I'll be updating the site with reminders for when Roster submissions will start for the Spring, as well as a timeline of when the Captain Meeting will be along with the start of the season.
Good Luck to all the playoff and to all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Fall 2018 - Week 13 Results and Playoff Eligibility
Hello Everyone,
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We are down to 1 last week of regulation play and some of the divisions have some tight races going on. There are a handful of players that are 1 week out for qualifying for Playoff Eligibility. Please go over the list and make sure your teams are all set. If a person isn't listed, then they haven't/aren't qualified for the playoffs. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me ASAP so we can get things all ironed out.
Congratulations go out to Jaime Welnicki and Rich Cooper for their 180s this past week. Congratulations also goes out to George Prine for his C9. Excellent darts folks!!
Best of luck to everyone next week!
