Spring 2020 - Week 2 All-Stars

Hello everyone, 

Week 2 has come to a close, and a great job by everyone once again on getting your matches saved and uploaded to DartConnect properly!   Just a reminder that for Doubles matches, you need to change the points-per-leg from 1 to 2, and then back from 2 to 1 when you resume Singles matches.  
 
Congratulations to Paul Senecal for setting the High In at 140, and to John Light for setting the High Out at 108 so far.   Congratulations to Frank Anzalone for his T80, and to Joe Briccio and Nick Magro for their C9's!  Great darts folks!

I'm in the process of setting up a more "permanent" solution regarding email blasts.  Once I have everything setup I'll be sending this out as an email blast tomorrow hopefully.

Timeline for 2020 Spring Season

Hello everyone, 

I wanted to set out the timeline of events for the Spring 2020 season.  

  • Roster Submissions -  I'm accepting roster submissions from today, until Jan 14th, 2020.  Sheets can be emailed to myself ( sddlsecretary@gmail.com ).  The Roster Submission form can be found ---> HERE.  Like last season it is an editable PDF document.  All you have to do is open the pdf on your computer or phone with the Adobe Acrobat Reader or Google Chrome browser.  Fill out all the information on the pdf and save it.  If you are not on a team and want to play, let me know so that I can assist with getting you paired up with a team.  I know there are some teams out there looking for additional players so please let me know!  
  • Captain's Meeting - We'll be having our Captain's Meeting on Jan. 21st, @ The Brown Derby @ 8PM Sharp!  The Captain's Meeting is MANDATORY for all team captains / team representatives to attend.  Penalty points will be assessed to teams that don't attend.  It's important to attend this meeting, as we will be going over all the details on DartConnect for this upcoming season.  Training will be provided as well, so if your team is in need of assistance, make sure to attend.  This meeting will also include the voting for League Secretary and League President, so if you're running for either one of those positions, or have a desire to vote on those elections, please attend.   
  • Spring Season 2020 - Week 1 of the Spring 2020 season will be on Tues. January 28th.  Schedules will be distributed at the Captain's Meeting.

Fall 2019 - Playoff Finals

Congratulations to the Devil's Rejects for winning the League Championship this year over the Outkasts 17-7. That's consecutive seasons for the team! 

In other action last night:
  • Congratulations to The Reckless Darters for their win over Junior's Flyers for the B Division Title! (17-13)
  • Congratulations to A Load of Bull for their win over The Filthy McNasties for the D Division Title! (17-7)
  • Congratulations to Cork and Bulls for their win over Those Guy's for the E Division Title! (17-5)

The C Division title is up for grabs next week with KCF facing off against Incubus. Night 1 of the match will start on Tuesday Dec. 17th @ The Last Chance in Wappingers. Good luck to both teams!

Fall 2019 - Week 14 - Final Standings

Hello Everyone, 

Posted are the Final Standings for the Fall 2019 Season, as well as the final Playoff Eligibility lists.  Congratulations to all the Division winners!   

Also attached are the initial Playoff Brackets.  The Playoff Schedule will be released shortly.  We are working on taking care of some conflicts in venues, and once we're done I will make the whole schedule available.

Fall 2019 - Week 13 Results and Playoff Eligibility

Hello everyone,

Here are the results.  We've got 1 week left to the regular season, with some playoff spots still up for grabs.  Congratulations to Tim Dolan for his C9 and to Spike Ceglio for his T80!
 
Just a reminder, the ability to reschedule matches from here on out HAS TO BE approved by the League Officers.   
 
With next week being Thanksgiving and add to the fact that we play on Tuesday, I am going to ask that everyone try to send me your results ASAP so that I can get the stats out before Thursday.  If you are not able to, I will have to hold off reporting the season finale stats until I get everyone's sheet (which might be after Friday).

Fall 2019 - Week 12 Results & Playoff Eligibility

Hello everyone, 

Sorry for the delay in getting this weeks results to you.  It's been "one of those weeks" in general.  I know it's no excuse and I apologize.  

Here are the results.  We've got 2 weeks left..  Week 11 KCF vs Ringwraiths match has been played.  KCF won 12-4.  Thank you for the prompt return of the results!  Congratulations to Buddy Scism for his T80 and congratulations to Rob Taylor for his C9!  Excellent darts gentlemen.  

Just a reminder, the ability to reschedule matches from here, onto the end of the season HAS TO BE approved by the League Officers.   

Jim Turner will be hosting his LoD Tournament on Saturday, 11/16 at the VFW Post 7765 in Red Hook.  You can reach out to the VFW Post 7765 Facebook page for more information.
My LoD Tournament originally scheduled for Sunday 11/17 has been cancelled.  I will be posting a new date and time for the next tournament.

In order to be eligible for the playoffs, you must have played in at least 7 weeks of matches (6 weeks if your division has a BYE).  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the eligibility of a player.
 
Tomorrow is the SDDL 2019 Turkey Shoot Tournament @ Collin's Ale House.  Come on down for what is bound to be a great day!   Hope to see you there!

Fall 2019 - Week 10 Results & Playoff Eligibility

Hello everyone, 

Week 10 came and went, and I hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!  Thank you everyone for getting your sheets to me on time!  Congratulations to Brian Kennedy for his second C9 of the season, and to Eric Cuchelo for raising the bar on the High Out to 147!  Great darts guys!
 
This week starts the additional attachment of the Playoff Eligibility lists.  In order to be eligible for the playoffs, you must have played in at least 7 weeks of matches (6 weeks if your division has a BYE).  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the eligibility of a player.    
 
We're 8 days out from the 2019 Turkey Shoot @ Collins Ale House.  The tournament will be held on Nov 9th, with 2 divisions being represented.  A/B/Open players will be in their own bracket, and the C/D/E players will be playing in another bracket.  There will be prizes to be raffled off as well as a 50/50!  As we do every year, we will be taking donations of canned goods for our local Food Pantry!  See the flyer in the link for more information on the tournament!
